Creating your own email addresses on your server
With a 123ezy web hosting account you can create your own email address. No more need to call a large company and waiting in a call queues to have someone create an email address for you.
Even better you can create as many email addresses as you want, one for each member of staff or division of the company. You even have control over how much space you want to allocate to each email address (they call this the size of the mail box). If you know that you will be receiving emails with large attachments then you can allocate a large amount of disk space on your website host where these files are stored until they are downloaded.
Why is web server space important?
When someone sends you an email (lets say it was overnight when you weren't at your computer) it is stored on your web hosting server. When you come into the office or launch your email program the next time, your email software makes contact with the web hosting server (using a secure username and password) and then downloads all the messages.
If there is not a large enough space on the server for emails and you receive a couple large files your "mail box" could become clogged and no one will be able to send you emails.
Email Setup
There are three aspects of your email that are important to know about:

Firstly you need to decide which email addresses you would like (you can have an unlimited number of email addresses and we'll setup the first 2 of them for you and provide you with a training guide on how to do it yourself in future),

Secondly you need to decide how you want to receive your emails, via your existing computer based email program (like Outlook or Outlook Express) or via Webmail (which you can access from anywhere in the world) and

Lastly, you need to know how to set your email up on those programs (Oulook or Outlook Express) and use it.
The great news is that you receive the training you need on how to do each of these tasks. It is all included in the cost so even if you don't use the features straight away, you have access to them when you are ready.
